What is Bulk Bill Dentistry?

Medicare bulk billing is the process where we bill the Government for your visit, not you. This means if you have a Medicare card your visit might be free. You simply swipe your Medicare card and sign some forms and we’ll bulk bill on your behalf, it’s as simple as that. What Types of Care Can Be Bulk Billed

At Star Dental, if you’re eligible we’re happy to utilise your Medicare benefits for whatever types of care is covered and that the dentist recommends. The only limit to your care is the dollar amount limit of your benefits.

Getting Medicare Bulk Bill Dentistry

To get dental services under the schedule you’ll need to complete the following steps.

1. Make an appointment with Star Dental Care. Let us know that you’ll be using the CDBS.
2. Discuss costs and any restrictions on the dental items with us and get a printed Treatment Plan.
3. Provide your Medicare Card or Medicare number so we can make a claim for a Bulk Bill claim to Medicare.
4. After Star Dental Care Bulk Bills Medicare you don’t need to do anything more. Medicare automatically pays your dentist. The amount will be deducted from your CDBS balance.
